Her studies in process engineering of industrial environmental protection at the University of Leoben established her interest in environmental science and economic aspects and even more enhanced her holistic thinking. She gained working experience in the industry, at the university and through her own company. She has project experience in the techno-economic and ecological fields. Environmental aspects, environmental risks and ecological assessments have always been an integral part of the projects she has carried out.
Following the path of research is for her a special enrichment to her CV. "The opportunity to use existing knowledge and experience as a starting point and go then one step further and search for new solutions is challenging, exciting and above all offers me the opportunity to do something on the front line!" she said.
Her PhD aims to develop a methodology that enables the determination of a global sustainability optimum regarding the selection and design of alternative power train technologies for their application in different heavy-duty vehicle configurations and use scenarios. The PhD is being carried out in cooperation with AVL List GmbH. The first important steps of the project have already taken place at the end of 2020 in meetings with representatives of AVL List GmbH.
