Review of the REV Conference 2025

In September 2025, we had the honor of hosting the Resource Efficient Vehicles Conference here in Graz. This second edition of the format was themed "Enabling Circular and Decarbonized Vehicle and Transport Solutions." The detailed program of REV2025 can be found on the website, but we would like to highlight a few special moments:

  • 11 sessions packed with innovative insights and 45 inspiring contributions.

  • 64 participants from diverse fields, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • 4 fantastic keynotes from industry leaders: Johanna Wallin Nylander (GKN Aerospace), Matthias Asplund (Trafikverket), policymakers Beatriz Ildefonso (European Commission), Hanno Bachler-Udier and Andreas Schiffleitner (Christian Doppler Laboratory Roundtable).

  • A unique AVL excursion that offered participants a firsthand look at the forefront of automotive innovation at AVL List GmbH in Graz.

  • A delightful city tour of Graz, which gave participants an insight into the city's exciting history, impressive architecture, and lively culture—from the historic city center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the famous Schlossberg clock tower.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this conference possible, especially the scientific board: Ciarán O'Reilly, Hanno Bachler-Udier, Sophie I. Hallstedt, Jenny Jerrelind, Mario Hirz, Dr. Morgane M.C. Fritz, Katharina Berger, Josef-Peter Schöggl, Rupert J. Baumgartner.
